On June 15th, 2007 at Dollywood Theme Park, Dolly Parton Officially became a lifetime Girl Scout. Dolly was with more than 1000 Girl Scouts, most of them from Sevier County, Dolly's home, as she made the Girl Scout Promise and proudly received a lifetime membership pin and an honorary Girl Scout sash full of badges and patches symbolizing all her many achievements.
Smoky Shadow's own, Glenda Johnson, Chairman of the Board of Tanasi Council and Dolly's childhood friend was hostess for the ceremonies. |
